Using latest technology to bring intelligent solutions, Berlan has developed a line of articles made with polyamide yarn Amni® Virus-Bac OFF.

This mechanism disables virus replication and anchorage, both from the enveloped (eg.: Coronavirus, Influenza, Herpes) and non-enveloped groups (eg.: Rotavirus). Pieces of clothing with this technology contain an antiviral agent inside the yarn DNA, which destroys the protein region and breaks the lipid barrier of viruses. It also eliminates disease-causing bacteria (eg.: meningitis and pneumonia) from the surface, preventing cross-contamination between user and clothing. These properties are permanent and do not wear off with washing.

 

 

 

*The effectiveness of Amni® Virus-Bac OFF polyamide has been proven following the protocols of ISO 18184 standard (Determination of Antiviral Activity of Textile Products). The antibacterial action has been proven in accordance with international textile standards AATCC100.
